Short story/film idea

An elderly man who makes his living waking up commuters by selling them fresh coffee from a stand in a London train station. Observing people carefully he sees yawns, queues and hustle and bustle, but he is still desperately alone. One morning he observed a businessman using a mobile phone and thought that he will buy ‘one of those things’ as a way of talking to himself without people knowing. It started out for fun but now he can’t stop and is dependent on talking to his many interesting characters, one of which is his late wife. Through Wilson’s conversations on his mobile phone he makes peace with issues that have haunted him for years, although now he has to deal with throwing the phone away and saying goodbye to his many friends on the other side.
